Esperanza producers create a range of cards available from our online shop.  Each design is carefully handmade using their own beautiful homemade recycled paper.

Esperanza producers live on the outskirts of the city of Trujillo, north Peru, where, as in most parts of Peru, many, many workers are under-employed and under paid.  Marketing their work in the UK has given Esperanza producers the opportunity to develop in skills and creativity whilst experiencing an improved quality of life through the fair price they receive for their work.

When you purchase our cards you will find:.

  • Quality: We think you will be really pleased with the quality of the cards at an affordable price.

  • Fair Wages: You can make a huge difference to someone’s life by buying these cards as at least 50% of the price you pay goes straight into Esperanza wages.

  • Recycling:  The producers recycle as much as they can, using waste paper, juice cartons and old envelopes in the artwork.
